I'm pleased to announce the launch of our new support site, community.playfab.com. This gives us new tools to better provide world-class support to all developers using PlayFab, and to empower developers who want to take a more active role in the community.
In addition to increased reliability, we look forward to adding new features to the support site in the future more easily. Expect to hear more about this in the coming months.
All tickets and forum posts created prior to Oct. 1 have been migrated to the new site. Content created in the last week will be imported shortly. As before, you can sign in to the support site with the same credentials you use on developer.playfab.com.
There are some differences in where content appears, so here’s what you need to know:
Tickets: Any email to an existing ticket thread will update the ticket in the new system. We’re monitoring all open tickets particularly closely during the transition, but feel free to email us if you have any concerns.
Forums: Old forum posts have also been imported to the new site. As part of the migration, all older posts now show up as having been made by me, bvanous. However, all the posts also contain the usernames of the original posters, so you can easily find all your old posts by searching on your username.
Links: If you bookmarked previous forum posts, those links will no longer work. To find an issue, simply enter the text of the subject in the search box. If you have any trouble finding a thread, please let us know, and we’ll get you the link you need. Similarly, as Google search links will take a few days to catch up, please use the search option on the community.playfab.com to look for any information you need.
Thanks for your patience as we finish this migration. We're very excited by the added capabilities, and we look forward to continuing to provide you with the support you need to make your products successful. As always, if you have any questions, please email us at email@example.com.
