Azure PlayFab is excited to announce that paid Insights features are now available for titles in Development mode. This means free titles can more quickly and easily access data without fully committing to Studio upgrade costs. This gives you the flexibility needed to manage your budget by paying only for services that are relevant to your title!
Paid Insights features, including longer retention and our fastest performance levels, are enabled by titles in Development mode and, once enabled, are highly customizable. If costs become too high, the Insights Management page allows you to reduce or stop generation of paid usage with just the click of a button at any time. Enabling paid Insights tiers gives you access to upgraded features without committing you to monthly payments giving you the freedom to control your spend on data.
To enable paid Insights features:
- Log in to PlayFab.com
- Select a title in Development Mode to enter the Title Overview page
- Navigate to the "Data" tab on the left-hand side of the page
- Navigate to the "Management (Preview)" tab on the top of the page
- 5.In the banner, select "Enable" to enable paid Insights features
If a payment method is missing from your account, you will need to add one in order to access paid Insights tiers. To do this, select "Add credit card" on the page's banner which will take you to the billing information page. Once a payment instrument is added, the Insights Management page will allow you to enable paid Insights features as described.
Title data is critical but title costs can be hard to manage. Now with Azure PlayFab Insights, you can get what you need without fear of emptying your wallet. We hope you will love this feature as much as we do!
